The Sykesville Public Library is excited to announce that we are searching for enthusiastic volunteers to help us create more engaging activities for our summer reading program!
This year’s theme, "Adventure Begins at Your Library!", is designed to inspire children to keep reading during summer vacation, ensuring they maintain valuable reading skills. In addition to our reading initiatives, we aim to offer a variety of fun and enriching activities for children, teenagers, and adults.
If you’re passionate about fostering a love of reading and community involvement, we’d love to have you join our team! Please fill out the volunteer form below, more information in regards to clearances will be found on the form! If you would prefer a physical copy, they are offered at the library.
Requirements:
Must be over the age of 18
Must have Child Line, State Police Clearance, and FBI Clearance for volunteer purposes
Together, we can make this summer an unforgettable adventure for everyone!
